PROMOTIONAL PRODUCT

Coke Face Crayons

Overall task
Support an agency for Coca-Cola by supplying 25,000 units of a low cost Gift With Purchase item that would tie in their nationwide campaign targeted at increasing Coke sales over the Super 12 rugby season.

Solution
A small packet of face crayons was developed that came in a range of colours to make up the colour combination of each Super 12 team. Based on NZ’s Health and Safety laws the Face crayons were also laboratory tested and approved prior to importing.

Benefits to client

  • Items was sourced that tied their brand in with the Super 12 event
  • Item was small enough to be easily dispatched to a number of outlets and dispensed over the counter as purchases were made

REWARDS PROGRAMME - ONLINE

Boise Island

Overall task

  • Get the sales team of 230 people focused on individual targets and motivated to meet them
  • Reward their top sales people and hold them up as an example to their teams

Solution

  • The Boise Island program was designed where everyone competed against their peers and won trips to an exclusive island in Fiji.
  • Utilising the WinRewards system a website was themed with the Boise Island concept and reflected Boise corporate imagery
  • Once on the website, participants could see exactly how they were placed against each other via a leaderboard
  • When sales results were posted on the Boise Island web site, the sales people could see how they were doing against their targets
  • Along the way some paper based items where sent out like a Boise Island Passport and a Boarding Pass to keep participants motivated

Benefits to client

Staff were motivated, top performers were recognised and rewarded, and the program provided Boise with measurable results.

REWARDS PROGRAMME - ONLINE

Tech Pacific Empower

Overall task

  • Develop an online incentive programme that would motivate there resellers to purchase more from them over a key selling period
  • Reward them for their purchases with a selection of prizes that could be selected from an online catalogue
  • Be able to update and communicate specific deals on a variety of vendor’s brands on a regular basis
  • Managers and vendors supporting the promotion to have access to a suite of reports from sales by resellers to what they were claiming

Solution

  • A customised website utilising the WinRewards engine was designed for the themed program “Empower”
  • Promotions on specific product deals were uploaded to the site and were automatically turned on or off according to date specific information
  • Email blasts were sent out notifying vendors of new deal, their points status and so on

Benefits to client

  • One interface that communicated the deals they were offering to their resellers, but also allowed their resellers to shop for specific rewards based on the points they had earned from their purchases
  • As a technology company it was also a way to show off their use of technology based solutions

REWARDS PROGRAMME - PAPER BASED

Renaissance Race Around the Pacific

Overall task

  • Design a 3 month incentive programme that encouraged their resellers to purchase more product from 16 of their key product brands.
  • Suit a summer theme and be appealing  

Solution

  • The Race Around The Pacific theme was developed with prizes dispatched when resellers reached specific Islands (signifying $ order levels)
  • Prizes were also chosen to suit the summer theme from Cornetto Ice Creams delivered to resellers in chiller truck to a sweepstake draw of a cruise for 2 around Fiji Islands
  • A promotion kit of a presenter outlining information on the product brands included in the promotion and a separate Race Map so they could chart their progress was included

Benefits to client

  • Sales were increased over a key selling period
  • Customers were rewarded for increased sales and were involved in the process as they watched prizes delivered on a regular basis!

MERCHANDISE MANAGEMENT

Tourism New Zealand

Overall task

Develop an upgraded range of apparel and merchandise for staff and customers and provide an effective ordering/distribution system of the range to Tourism NZ staff worldwide and to trade users.

Solution

  • Sourced and supplied a new corporate and promotional merchandise range
  • Provided an online ordering site allowing TNZ staff worldwide and trade users to view and purchase from a ‘real-time’ stock management system
  • Provided a secure credit card payment gateway for Trade users

Benefits to client

  • Stock can be viewed and orders can be placed at anytime
  • Amendments can be made to product listings and site details in a timely manner
  • Automated ordering and reporting system backed up by manual checks reduces the risk of errors in stock holding and distribution
